At a press conference today BurgerShaq owner and head chef Shaqelangelo McKasty revealed new menu items and promotions for BurgerShaq to coincide with the start of the new NBA season.

"We've added some breakfast items to complement our popular Steve Nash Brown. You can get an order of the Steve Blake Steak & Eggs, or if you'd prefer the Willie Green Eggs & Ham. For those of you from north of the border, we've got the Todd MacCulloch Canadian Bacon & Flapjack breakfast - the only meal endorsed by T-Mac himself."

"And we're also happy to say that we've signed another LA Laker for an endorsement, and a very special sandwich indeed. Nike and Sprite may not like Kobe Bryant, but we here at BurgerShaq know the value of Kobe beef! So we'd like to introduce the Kobe Bryant Beef Sandwich - Authentic Kobe beef, fried onions & mushrooms, topped with cheeze whiz and served on an Italian roll - from Italy to Philadephia came Kobe Bryant, and we decided to throw in the taste of Japan with this homage to the classic Philly Cheesesteak. Only $88.88! Hey, how do you think he got that money to buy that 4.5 million dollar ring?"

"We've also added a new side item - Elden Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup. It's delicious! To go along with the popular Eric Snowcone, we've added a new dessert - Olden Polynice-cream! Available in three flavors - vanilla, chocolate, and twist."

"Finally, I'm very proud to announce our new toys for the next few weeks that will be given away with our Jason Kidd's Meal. For the first week of the promotion we're giving away Gary "The Glove" Payton Oven Mitts. What kid wants oven mitts you might ask? What kid doesn't want oven mitts with Gary Payton's face on them? Following that, we'll be giving away the Olden Polynice Police Officer kit - a toy badge, water pistol, and handcuffs - from the only NBA star ever to be caught impersonating a police officer. We're going to wrap up our promotion with the Bo Outlaw wild wild west set - a cowboy hat, toy six shooter, and lasso."
